Once you select the month you would like to analyze, the page is automatically refreshed and new information shows up instantly. So, you can easily track your gross profit, EBIDTA and net profit.
It allows for precise tracking of quarterly turnover, ensuring that stockholders are kept informed of the company’s financial performance. Essential for projecting cash flow and amortization schedules, it’s indispensable for managing current debts and leverage efficiently.
Database
Just fill the database section of the income statement according to your business information. In this section, you will have to input Income, Expenses, and Taxes, ONLY in the white blank cells to be able to finalize your profit and loss statement.
Finally, after fulfilling the database with your own accurate data you will be ready to see the results of the analysis on the dashboard. With detailed sections for non-operating income and depreciation, it ensures a comprehensive view of your fiscal position and future projections.

The Net Income is calculated with the formula of sales minus cost of goods sold (COGS), general and administrative expenses, operating expenses, depreciation, interest, taxes, and other expenses.
If you want to calculate your EBIDTA, this is the earnings before interest, tax and amortization, so you will subtract the COGS and total expenses from your sales revenue.

I currently use your profit and loss template that i purchased awhile back. It has been a great template for me!
However, as i get more properties it becomes hard and harder to track. I need to make some slight customization to the work sheet and wonder if that is possible. The problem I am running into is the need to pull the information from the database to main page to reflect accurately. Can you please help me? I have 4 properties that need to pull information from.

The dashboard section is taking the whole data from the database section. To be able to reflect new income or expense details to the dashboard, you need to start to modify the template from the database section. There are some adjustments you need to do in the database section such as adding new formulas. In that way, the data you input in the database section will be reflected in the dashboard section as well. Thanks for your interest! You are not able to see the whole number because of the digit length. There is a simple thing you need to do is enlarging the column size. Please Unlock the template > Open the headings and lastly, increase the column width. That’s all!

To be able to add new lines inside the template, you need some adjustments. You should change some of the formulas to update the overall calculation and new ones to reflect the new expenses you added to the dashboard.
If you think that you are quite familiar with Excel formulas, of course, you can try to do it. But, you can contact us in case you need help.
