Depending on what purpose you follow, this simple Monthly Attendance Sheet Excel Template can become handy in these kinds of situations. It helps you maintain accurate records in a quick manner.

Template Sections
DASHBOARD
On the Dashboard, you will find a drop-down in which you can select the Year in order to input your students. So it does not require buying or preparing another template once the season is over.
In attendance sheet template, every month has a separate section.
Moreover, there is a participant dropdown list. All you have to do is select the participants you want to track from the dropdown list.
PARTICIPANT LIST
In the participant list section, you can add your contact list. Therefore you will see this data in the monthly sheets. Also, if you want, you can add the contact information of the participants.
MONTHS (Jan, Feb, Mar…)
Names will appear in every other month’s sheet automatically. So you do not need to put all the names in each month manually.
In monthly attendance sheet template, you can keep the records on each month’s own section with the options you have already determined before such as if the student is either attended, not attended, tardy, or another status. Just select the necessary cell for each student for that day and click the option you would like to choose.
Finally, each Attendance List helps you identify the problematic ones by the marks you give. Once you give the marks, you can find a summary table of the situation of each student/employee on this sheet.
It is easy to use and once you print, you will be able to print the whole section you would like to print.

The column headings are not visible in the Excel template. How can I display them?

Hello, try scrolling to the top of the page, or selecting “View” > “Freeze Panes” to keep the headings visible as you scroll down.

First, you need to unlock both worksheets and workbook. How do I unlock the sheets? What is the password?
Then, please Open the sheet tabs and add a new sheet

Thank you for your advice, we have noted this for our coming updates.
We try to keep our templates as simple as possible to maximize the performance.
For this template, we recommend our users to keep an empty file aside, and use a different file for each year with the Save As option.

I download this tool and it is quite good. But, I am looking for a template to assist with running of a small study center here in Australia. Students records such as absenteeism like this template but plus training and grades records. Like a database. Do you do that type of sheet at all?
