Main Features of Event Budget Excel Template
The Event Budget Excel Template has 2 main sections.
Input
First, enter the data such as event name, owner, and date. Second, enter the name of categories such as decoration, venue, etc. Then, enter the expense details for various event categories.
Next, input expected expense, actual expense, and responsible person, and choose a status from the dropdown menus for each event category. Then, the template will calculate the total estimated and actual cost. Also, this tool highlights incomplete tasks for each category.
Once you enter the details for each item for categories, tasks to be completed, expected expense and actual expense will be filled automatically by the Event Budget Template.
Dashboard
The dashboard section is where you can analyze your budget data. You can track budget status for each category by viewing actual and estimated cost for expense categories with bar charts. Budget status section will dynamically show actual expenses for each category with bars while the line graph represents the expected expenses. Any changes you make in the input section will affect the chart automatically.
Also, by selecting the expense category from the dropdown list you can see the actual and estimated cost for each item of a specific event category.
Select the expense category from the dropdown list, actual expense and estimated costs for each item will be shown with bars. This section of event budget template is ideal for analyzing the cost of each item in selected expense category.
Additionally, you can track the completion status of your event planning process. With Status by Categories chart, you can also track the status of items in each category. You can update the status of each item in the input section.
