What’s a MOSCOW Template?
Moscow templates are structured tools for project management prioritization using the Moscow method. The Moscow method, also known as Moscow prioritization or Moscow analysis, helps teams prioritize requirements into four categories:
- Must Have
- Should Have
- Could Have
- Won’t Have
Basically, this framework prioritizes critical tasks and schedules less important ones. So, the Moscow Framework Excel Template will simplify project requirements and priority management.
How to use MOSCOW Prioritization Template?
Simply, this is an Excel template consisting of three main areas: 1. Items List, 2. Moscow Matrix, 3. Dashboard
All you have to do is listing your items or tasks, then the template will generate your Moscow matrix and dashboard automatically.
1. Item List
Firstly, you will list your items for your Moscow prioritization template and then select the Category from the dropdown menu. Also, you’ll be able to track the progress of each item as Not Started, In Progress or Done.
Thus, the Category choices will determine the place of your item on the matrix. On the other hand, if your status is Done for a particular item, the template will strikethrough that item on the matrix.
Also, if you need more rows for your items list, press the plus (+) sign on the left side to add more rows to your list.
2. Matrix
Secondly, you’ll have a matrix visual of your prioritization among the different items.
So, this sleek-design matrix will let you understand your nice to have items at one glance.
Please note that you do not have to write anything manually on this Moscow Diagram. Because, all tasks/items are coming from your list automatically.
3. Dashboard
